A brief history of tape weaving will be presented along with the class.  Several looms will be provided but students may bring their own tape loom if they have one.  Class will be conducted in a round-robin format where all students will weave on different looms dressed for different patterns.  Various techniques will be taught including:  basic tape weaving, fringe, tubes and adding beads as well as troubleshooting and making a design statement by changing warp threads.  Students will take home all tapes woven.  No additional materials fee required.

A brief history of tape weaving will be presented along with the class.  Dressing a loom will be discussed.   Several looms will be provided for use by the instructor but students may bring their own tape loom if they have one.  Class will be conducted in a round-robin format where all students will weave on different looms dressed for different patterns.  Various techniques will be taught including:  basic tape weaving, fringe, tubes and adding beads as well as troubleshooting and making a design statement by changing warp threads.  Students will take home all tapes woven.  Class size: 8 students (unless extra student arrives with their own loom).  No additional materials fee required.
