Beginner Drop Spindle Spinning

Learn how to spin using a top whirl drop spindle! In this class, Myranda will introduce the fundamentals of spinning fiber and how to create your own handspun yarn with a drop spindle and some wool. Continue learning with the Genesee Valley Handspinners Guild. Visit www.gvhg.org to learn more.

A starter kit is available for purchase on the day of the class ($20 day-of paid to the teacher), which includes a drop spindle and wool. If you already have a spindle feel free to bring it!
