Learn the skills needed to make a round braided mat. In the class you will make a small braided mat that can be used as a trivet or mug rug. It can be enlarged at home to become a chair pad, tabletop centerpiece or room sized rug.

$25 - which includes all supplies needed to make the 6 inch round mat.

About the Instructor: Peggy Ann Watts

Peggyann has been a rug braider for 35 years. She is the owner and teacher of Belfast Braids at the Belfast Braiding Center in Belfast New York. She has taught at the Valley Forge Braid In in PA and at the New England Braid In in Meltheun, Mass. She enjoys displaying and demonstrating rug braiding at Country Fairs. Teaching and passing on the skills of rug braiding has allowed her to meet many wonderful people.
