Class Description: Make a needle felted pumpkin as a decoration for the holidays or a fun gift for a friend. You will learn about the difference in felting needles and types of wool to make different types of pumpkins. You will complete one medium pumpkin in class and will take home a felting needle, foam and enough wool to complete a small pumpkin on your own. Samples of different kinds of wool will be available for your use.

About the Instructor: Dorothy Belknap

For many years Dorothy has been interested in textiles.  She has explored spinning, knitting, crocheting, dyeing and hooking. She is currently focusing on both wet and needle felting. Dorothy has attended many workshops and has also studied with Marie Brate, as well as studing fine arts at Monroe Community College.
