Cost: $35, $20 for each sock blank for materials

Class Description: Create the perfect yarn for a shawl that radiates or for interesting colorwork when combined with another yarn or a competing gradient. This class will be all about slowly shifting colors. We will cover the basics of dyeing with acid dyes (Greener Shades), color theory, dyeing a knit blank, and how to achieve gradual color shifts over the length of our blanks. Each blank is a little over 400 yards and is a fingering weight yarn.

About the Instructor: Liz Yockel

Liz Yockel is the owner of The Fuzzy Bunny and the Honeoye Craft Lab, where she teaches spinning and knitting, among other things, and dyes many pounds of fiber each year.
