Class Description: Students will be introduced to the equipment and techniques needed to process your fleeces from start to finish. There will be examples of prepared fiber, spun yarn and finished goods to illustrate the different techniques but we will not be practicing these skills. The information provided will assist in purchasing appropriate equipment to meet the individual shepherd’s needs. Handouts provided.

About the Instructor: Jen Adams

Jen Adams is an active shepherdess with her family’s hobby farm. She processes the fleeces from shearing to finished products and also has a fiber studio at home where she sells fiber, yarn and equipment. She also teaches beginners in both drop and wheel spinning, weaving, crochet and knitting. She is a dealer for Louet, Schacht and Beka products.
