Sound the trumpets, and blow your horn it’s time to learn how to create beautiful raised stitch patterns! This class will literally raise your knitting to new heights. Learn everything it will take to create beautiful textured raised Milkweed Mitts and more. The techniques learned can be applied for years to come to projects limited by your imagination only!

Supplies to BringSupplies you need to bring: 200 yds of Dk weight yarn. Sample shown in gnarledpaw.com Top Dog DK Light, 100% superwash merino aprox. 275yds/100g skein, “Nudeski” color, but any DK Light weight yarn will work. US #2 (2.75mm) and US #4 (3.5mm). Double points, or preferred circular knitting method. Use needles necessary to obtain correct gauge. Gauge: 28sts=4” in reverse stockinette on larger needle. Size: Women’s Medium

About the Instructor: Tina Turner
Tina Turner is the proud owner of The Knitting Circle, www.tinaturnerknits.com in Fairport NY. She has been knitting for over 35 years, and in 2002 became a Craft Yarn Council Certified Knitting Instructor. Tina has taught at the Finger Lakes Fiber Festival, the Yarn Boutique in Rochester NY, the Pittsford and Fairport libraries and at The Knitting Circle. She has been President of the Rochester Knitting Guild and also of the Genesee Valley Handspinners Guild. Teaching knitting has become a passion and a joy. Tina has started to do more designing and has patterns available on her ravelry site.
