2019 Class informationDo you have an idea for a class? Submit a suggestion using the comment form below. Are you interested in teaching? Here are some tips for working out the details of your class. Download this 2019 Class Proposal and send it to Jaye Knight (details on the form). Not sure what to teach? Or how much to charge? Or how long your class should be? Have some questions about how classes work at the festival? Here are some guidelines to help you out. These are not set in stone, feel free to submit whatever works for you. We wanted to give you some idea of what has worked in the past.
- Popular classes in the past have included dyeing, spinning, weaving, felting, polymer clay, knitting and crochet. We'd love to have a rigid heddle weaving class and are always looking to include those crafts that are a bit more unusual such as basket weaving, wire working, beading.
- Want to teach something not listed? Feel free to submit a proposal.
- Guidelines: Class length should be under 2½ hours, class cost under $60, number of students 12 or less and a materials fee that reimburses you for the cost of any materials supplied by you to your students.
