The Guild is a group of people interested in various aspects of handspinning. Started in 1985 with just a few members, the Guild has grown to a group of over 100 members including veteran spinners as well as those who are completely new to spinning. Guild meetings offer opportunities to meet other spinners, learn spinning techniques, and share resources. The guild educates wider audiences about spinning through public demonstrations.
Guild meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month (unless otherwise posted) at the Rush United Methodist Church, 6200 Rush Lima Road, Rush, NY 14543 from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
